Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our Meat Department. You will provide excellent customer service, handle fresh, cured and boxed meats, and ensure products are properly stored, weighed, and rotated to prevent aging.

The role involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 90 lbs, with a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers, following safety procedures, and maintaining knowledge of weekly ads and promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable with good math, weights and measures understanding.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of safety, health and sanitation procedures.
• Comfortable handling and preparing meat products.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service in the Meat Department.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; handle deliveries andInventory.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow 'Clean as You Go' policies.
• Be knowledgeable of weekly ads and product locations.
