Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bartending experience preferred in restaurant or sports entertainment.

Position Title: Premium In-Seats Bartender

Pay Range: $11.70/hr + Tip Eligible

Event based - MLB Season

Job Summary

Join the Premium In-Seats team at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and be part of an energetic, fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to create exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests in friendly and welcoming manner; ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
  • Provide exceptional, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
  • Adheres to state, federal, and Levy Responsible Alcohol Service regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to all guests.
  • Prepares and stocks bar areas with all products including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, etc.
  • Maintains stocks, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menu and available products.
  • Prepare guest checks, process payments, and ensure accurate transactions; adhere to Levy Cash Handling policy.
  • Ensure work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Complete required production logs, safety and sanitation logs, waste/spoilage log, inventory log, check-in/check-out procedures daily.
  • Completes opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks, setup, preparation in assigned area, daily and monthly inventory.
  • Collaborate with FOH and BOH team to promote a positive environment, smooth operations and timely service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry. 2 + years bartender experience preferred.
Required Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
  • Proficient in mixology, with the ability to prepare a variety of classic and custom cocktails; knowledge of drink recipes, garnishes, and alcohol types.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
  • This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Food Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
