Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines, part of Evans Hotels, is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems for our resort in La Jolla, CA. This full-time role requires dedication to safety and quality service.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service calls, keep detailed repair records, and comply with EPA/OSHA rules, with weekend/holiday availability as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification required.
• 3–12 months of relevant experience or training.
• Weekend/holiday availability required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Responds to service calls and guest needs promptly.
• Keeps accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and refrigerant usage.
• Complies with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Drives to on-site or off-site locations for service/maintenance.
• Supports emergency operations as needed.
