Job summary

Sea Story Sushi is seeking experienced servers for a premium all-you-can-eat concept in a high-volume dining environment. You will need strong hospitality skills, fast pace adaptability, and thorough menu knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of serving experience in Asian or full-service restaurants, are 18+, legally eligible to work in the United States, and proficient with Toast POS. Evening and weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide employment verification
• Proficient with Toast POS and/or Toast handheld ordering systems
• Comfortable managing a fast-paced, high-volume section with accuracy and guest service
• Strong knowledge of full-service restaurant standards and service steps
• Ability to learn and explain an extensive menu (sushi, hibachi, ramen, yakitori, sauces, allergens)
• Ability to enter orders, modifications, allergies, and special requests accurately
• Strong communication with guests, management, kitchen, sushi bar, hosts, bussers, and servers
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during rushes
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Positive, professional attitude and team-first mentality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance
• Must stand/move for extended periods and safely carry trays
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, accurate service in a high-volume setting
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the menu and specials
• Deliver excellent hospitality and guest experience during busy periods
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and service team to ensure smooth service
• Ensure orders, modifications and allergens are accurately entered and conveyed
