Job summary

Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community's LaunchPad Golf is seeking an energetic Food Runner to deliver dishes from the kitchen to the dining areas across golf suites, dining room, and event spaces. You will help ensure timely, accurate service and a seamless guest experience.

You must be 18+ with at least 1 year in a restaurant setting, able to lift 25 lbs and stand most of the shift. Nights and weekends are required; SMSC offers weekly pay and health benefits along with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year experience in restaurant environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand on feet 98% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Transporting food from the kitchen to guest tables in a timely manner under supervision.
• Check orders for correctness and presentation before serving.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of food.
• Ensure food is served at correct temperature and meets quality standards.
• Address guest inquiries or requests related to orders (dietary needs or extras).
• Keep service area stocked with items needed for meals (condiments, utensils).
• Take pride in getting to know guests.
• Know menu items to offer recommendations.
