Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Production Assistant II in Kohler, WI to prepare, package, serve, and merchandise premium foods while delivering outstanding service. You will work in a fast-paced, upscale setting with emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities include helping guests with selections, labeling items, and keeping cases well stocked. Shifts span mornings to evenings, with weekends and holidays required. 16+ years old with ServSafe is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Previous food production or service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with product selection and prep tips.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products and pairings.
• Slice, weigh, cut, trim, and package products to store standards.
• Prepare fresh foods according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all items are properly labeled and stocked.
• Maintain clean, organized cases reflecting a premium image.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols throughout the shift.
• Work across multiple prep areas and assist training junior team members.
• Respond to management requests and support cross-functional needs.
