Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years or older and able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Food production or service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and passion for food and preparation.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Ability to operate slicers, scales and other equipment safely.
• Ability to use POS systems and handle cash.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, cut, trim and package products per store standards.
• Prepare fresh foods according to recipes and standards.
• Label items correctly and maintain attractive cases.
• Rotate stock and maintain department organization.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Monitor product freshness and coordinate with other departments.
• Support training of new team members as needed.

The Production Associate II is responsible for preparing, packaging, serving, and merchandising premium, freshly made products while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll work in a fast-paced, upscale environment where quality, cleanliness, and product expertise are essential. This role requires attention to detail, food safety awareness, product knowledge, and a passion for helping customers make informed choices.

Specific Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with product selection, portion recommendations, cooking or reheating tips, and slicing preferences
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products, pairings, and preparation methods
• Slice ,weigh, cut, trim, and package products to store standards and customer requests while using proper techniques and equipment
• Prepare fresh foods according to store recipes and standards
• Ensure all items are properly labeled
• Maintain attractive and well-stocked cases that reflect the store’s premium image
• Rotate products to ensure freshness, quality and minimize waste
• Maintain department organization standards in back stock areas and front of house
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to ensure quality
• Work closely with other departments to support cross-functional needs and smooth operations
• Work in multiple food prep areas as needed
• Support training of new team members as needed

This is a part-time position, working weekdays and weekends with shifts varying between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older and have ability to obtain ServSafe certification
• Previous food production or service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge and passion of food and food preparation
• Ability to read and follow a recipe
• Ability to operate slicers, scales, and other equipment safely
• Ability to use POS systems and comfortable with cash handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

The hourly range for this position is $15.90 - $23.80. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
