A leading company in the finance sector is seeking a candidate to support Premium Finance operations by processing payments, funding loans, and maintaining contracts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves a hybrid work setting and offers comprehensive benefits including generous PTO and an annual bonus based on performance.
Purpose
To support several key Premium Finance operations tasks, which may include payment processing and maintenance, funding of loans, and settlement of Premium Finance contracts
Receive, verify, apply, and reconcile customer payments received by mail
Create daily deposits and reconciles to batch totals
Log and process NSF payments
Execute daily payable process to fund loans and ancillary products
Apply returned premium to settle Premium Finance contracts and issue refund as necessary
Apply mailed-in installment payments to PFA to Finance Pro
Post / deposit installment, renewal, and commission payments to Wells Fargo daily
Create and distribute daily deposits, payables, and ACH transfers
Process returned mail
Perform Flat Cancellation of Premium Finance contracts as required
Verify and mail customer refund checks
Process small balance write-offs as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, or consumer loan industries required
Preferred Skills
Basic working knowledge of Windows, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a high-paced setting, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in office / hybrid setting depending on the role hired
