NEIS, LLC, a leader in insurance audit and loss prevention since 1945, is seeking a Premium Auditor. This role involves examining the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The position is remote, with required daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and standards.
• Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
• Create schedules to optimize time management.
• Coordinate with insureds via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, gather data, determine correct classifications, and describe operations.
• Complete audit documentation, explain results to insureds, and communicate with the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years of premium auditing experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary for experienced auditors: $46.00 - $48.00 per billable hour.
• Training stipend for inexperienced auditors: up to $750 weekly, plus mileage and bonuses. Post-training, pay shifts to production-based, typically $44-46 per billable hour.
