Job summary

Churchill Downs Racetrack is seeking a seasonal Guest Services role aligned with the racing calendar. You will provide personal service to guests, assist with seating, tickets, parking, and track promotions, and support the Sales & Strategy Team on events and special projects.

This position requires strong customer service, multitasking, and familiarity with premium dining operations; Kentucky Oaks and Derby days are included, with shifts on training and race days in select months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in hospitality or horse racing industry preferred.
• Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and guide guests to seats with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Assist with tickets, parking and entry directions, special requests, and venue areas.
• Educate guests on track promotions, wagering basics, and race-day information.
• Take ownership of guest concerns and follow up to resolve issues with empowerment.
• Communicate courteously and professionally, addressing dress code violations and seating issues.
