Job summary

Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club is seeking a part-time Host to warmly greet members and guests and ensure a seamless dining experience. You will manage seating, use the POS system, and coordinate with team members to deliver excellent service.

The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and able to remain calm under pressure. This role offers on-site work at our Fort Washington location with holiday bonus compensation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant hosting is preferred.
• Ability to maintain composure and provide friendly service.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
• Manage seating arrangements and organize dining room sections.
• Efficiently use the POS system to manage reservations and assign tables.
• Efficiently multitask while greeting and seating multiple parties.
• Learn and anticipate member preferences and needs, responding proactively to requests.
• Understand and follow the restaurant’s service standards and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor with members, guests, and fellow team members.
• Complete daily side work and cleaning responsibilities.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
• Communicate effectively with MGCC team to ensure smooth service.
