Position Title: Catering Attendant

Pay Range: $17.50/hr + Tip Eligible

Event based Schedule: MLB Season

Join our dynamic team at Chase Field as a Catering Attendant and contribute to the exceptional guest experience at our Catering events. As a Catering Attendant, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and service to our event guests, ensuring they have a memorable time during events at the ballpark.

Responsibilities

1. Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner; ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
2. Provide exceptional, friendly, and courteous service to guests throughout the event.
3. Retrieve and verify food orders from the kitchen; ensure accuracy and presentation adheres to Levy Core Signature standards.
4. Communicate special requests or modifications to appropriate kitchen or serving staff.
5. Distribute menus, present daily specials, and answer any menu-related questions from guests.
6. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menu and available products.
7. Take accurate food and beverage orders; ensure food and beverages are served in a timely manner; ensure correct placement of dishes.
8. Deliver and serve food and beverages at scheduled functions under the supervision of catering captain.
9. Prepare guest checks, process payments, and ensure accurate transactions.
10. Assemble and deliver food and supplies to designated locations for catered events.
11. Ensure food items are properly stored, labeled, and dated according to standards, following food safety guidelines.
12. Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
13. Set up buffet tables, arranging food, beverages, and service items per event specifications.
14. Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility post-event.
15. Clean event areas during and after events, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
16. Complete required event production logs, safety and sanitation logs, waste/spoilage log, inventory log, check-in/check-out procedures daily.
17. Assist with event-specific documentation as needed.
18. Stock, clean, and maintain catering facilities equipment.
19. Complete opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks, setup, preparation in assigned area, daily and monthly inventory.
20. Collaborate with FOH and BOH team to promote a positive environment, smooth operations, and timely service.
21. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

1. Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
2. Ability to accurately take and place orders; provide timely service.
3. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
4. Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
5. This position may require the following valid certifications: ServSafe Food Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry.
2. 2+ years Server or Catering experience preferred.

Physical Demands

1. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging from 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
2. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary.
3. Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
4. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
5. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
