Job summary

Amwins Self-Funded in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a Premium Coordinator to manage premium files, review statements, and support commissions and reconciliations in a hybrid, in-office role with optional remote work after training.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and a strong aptitude for learning our billing processes while maintaining high accuracy and collaboration within the team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional work experience with a desire to learn AR/AP/Reconciliation/Billing
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience in insurance industry or with a Carrier/TPA is a plus
• Eagerness to learn our business model and products is essential
• Strong organization and attention to detail required
• Solid teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with staff
• Ability to multi-task and manage workloads in a high-volume environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Detailed Premium File Management for online and manual setup by client and plan year
• Review backup statements for accuracy and disburse funds across accounts
• Assist with the commission process for late payments and follow up on receivables
• Coordinate and resolve premium issues with Account Management
• Assist with reconciliation of specific block of business
• Adhere to accounting policies, controls, procedures and filing systems
• Assist with bank wire and deposit processing under supervision
• Compile electronic and manual files for each group
• Show adaptability and collaborate with team on other projects
