Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Premium Coordinator to join our in-office team in Scottsdale, AZ, with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week after training. You will manage premium files, review statements, and support commission processing across multiple accounts, while aligning with our policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in AR/AP/reconciliation/billing and hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Insurance industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional work experience with a desire to learn AR/AP/Reconciliation/Billing.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the insurance industry and/or with a Carrier or TPA is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn our business model and products.

Responsibilities

• Detailed Premium File Management: manage premium files (online and manual) by client and plan year.
• Statement Review and Disbursement: review statements and disburse funds across accounts.
• Commission Process Assistance: assist with late payments and follow up on receivables.
• Premium Issue Coordination: coordinate and resolve premium issues with Account Management.
• Reconciliation Support: assist with reconciliation of Cornerstone Assurance Group block of business.
• Adherence to Accounting Policies: follow accounting policies, controls, and filing systems.
• Bank Wire and Deposit Processing: assist with wiring and deposits with the Director of Premiums.
• File Compilation: assemble electronic and manual files for each group.
• Adaptability and Team Collaboration: take on other projects and collaborate with staff.
