Job summary

Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. is seeking a part-time AudioVisual Event Technician in downtown San Jose. You will assist with daily AV office operations, set up, operate, and strike AV systems for client events, and maintain high service levels and profitability.

The role requires at least one year in AV, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work long hours on your feet. Candidates should have AV knowledge of microphones, speakers, projectors, lighting, and computer software on PC/Mac

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years’ experience in the AV industry.
• Background customer service or hospitality experience required.
• Certification in AV technology or related courses (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Significantly contribute to the effective management of day-to-day operations.
• Timely and accurate set-up and strike of equipment for client functions.
• Continually increase audiovisual skills and knowledge.
• Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with Hotel account.
• Maintain positive employee relations and strong teamwork.
• Operate company business software.
