Job summary

Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a part-time AV technician to support event production. You will assist with day-to-day AV office functions, set up, operate, and strike equipment for client functions, and contribute to service efficiency.

The role requires at least one year in AV, hospitality or customer service experience, plus knowledge of AV gear and software on PC/Mac. It offers a flexible schedule and a pathway to develop technical and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in AV industry or related field.
• Background in customer service or hospitality.
• Certification in AV technology or related courses preferred.
• Experience with AV setups and strikes (mics, speakers, projectors, lighting).
• Proficiency with PC and Mac software used in AV environments.
