Job summary

MINI of Glencoe in Illinois is seeking a positive, professional Parts Counterperson for our North Shore team. The role involves providing premium customer service to both internal service staff and external customers in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The position offers health and wellness benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, employee discounts, training, and a base of 18.00 per hour plus commission. Prior MINI/BMW parts sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Prior automotive parts sales experience preferred (MINI or BMW is a plus).
• Skills: Strong organizational, math and time-management abilities; ability to read electronic parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: answer calls, provide quotes, communicate parts availability with a friendly attitude.
• Order Management: oversee parts sales from order to shipment or pickup.
• Inventory Control: perform weekly bin checks, source out-of-stock parts, flag low inventory.
• Internal Collaboration: verify estimates, bill parts to service orders, process payments or credits.
