What does a Premium Auditor do?

Our Premium Auditors meet with clients onsite, virtually, or by phone, usually at the end of the policy period, to review business operations, financial records like payroll and sales, and verify class codes as required by the insurance contract.

• Schedule appointments with clients to conduct audits and gather information
• Submit audit reports via our web portal and proprietary software
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face
• Examine payroll and tax records of commercial businesses
• Evaluate operational practices
• Adhere to customer requirements and quality standards
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity

Qualifications:

• Must reside in the specified geographic area
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping required
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Numbers-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to use deductive reasoning to find solutions
