Job summary

McCormack Baron is seeking a grounds/janitorial staff member to keep the property clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will clean hallways, windows, restrooms, and common areas, as well as prepare vacant units for new residents and perform light maintenance tasks.

The role requires winter snow/ice removal and on-call availability, plus maintaining janitorial equipment and following OSHA safety policies. A valid driver’s license is often required for sites with motorized vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in grounds or janitorial work.
• Must be trustworthy and dependable.
• Must be able to perform light maintenance work.
• General knowledge of janitorial and building maintenance a plus.
• During winter months responsible for snow and ice removal and be available for on call.
• Ability to maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (noted for sites with motorized vehicles).

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, glass doors and window areas, restrooms, empty trash containers, and light office cleaning.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for new residents and minor repairs.
• Walk the grounds picking up paper, trash, etc.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep of the property office and common areas of property buildings
• Adhere to dress code as established by management
• Use protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures
• Be aware of and always operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Other duties assigned by a supervisor
