Job summary

McCormack Baron is seeking a property maintenance associate to perform grounds and janitorial tasks, clean common areas, and assist in preparing units for new residents. You will walk the grounds, maintain the office and buildings, and follow safety policies. Winter months require snow/ice removal and occasional on-call shifts.

The role emphasizes reliability, basic maintenance skills, and adherence to dress code and OSHA safety standards in a property management environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in grounds or janitorial work.
• Must be trustworthy and dependable.
• Must be able to perform light maintenance work.
• General knowledge of janitorial and building maintenance a plus.
• During winter months responsible for snow and ice removal and be available for on call.
• Ability to maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, glass doors and window areas, restrooms, empty trash containers, and light office cleaning.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for new residents and minor repairs.
• Walk the grounds picking up paper, trash, etc.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep of the property office and common areas of property buildings.
• Adhere to dress code as established by management.
• Use protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures.
• Be aware of and always operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Other duties assigned by a supervisor.
