Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a System Float Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Advanced Care to join the Nursing Staffing Pool.

This full-time night shift (7p-7:30a) supports multiple acuity units and requires Ohio RN license and CPR; BSN preferred and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN License.
• Current CPR required at time of hire.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Recent acuity-specific experience within an acute care setting required.
• 1–3 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Care for a diverse caseload using the nursing process within the department scope.
• Collaborate with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.

Shift: Full Time 7p-7:30a/ 72 Hours Per Pay

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry. The RN collaborates with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards. The Premier System Float Medical-Surgical/Advanced Care - Acuity Specific RN System Regional Float rotates to acuity specific units to subsidize staffing shortages as needed enterprise-wide.
