GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is hiring a Concierge Security Officer to welcome guests and ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at a high-profile venue in Los Angeles.

The role emphasizes hospitality and strong people skills, with responsibilities including screenings, directing visitors, patrolling, and incident reporting. A BSIS Guard Card and a high school diploma are required; uniform is provided, with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Customer service experience welcomed (hospitality, lobby, or similar).
• Experience operating walk-through and handheld metal detectors.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Document High School Diploma or GED.
• State BSIS Guard Card with 32hr BSIS trainings (can be obtained during hiring).
• Strong report writing skills and comfort with technology.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors professionally.
• Conduct security screenings with detectors to ensure safety.
• Provide a welcoming, professional presence on site.
• Assist with directions, inquiries, and visitor support.
• Document incidents with detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents and coordinate emergency teams.
• Patrol regularly to protect premises and exhibits.
• Control access to secure areas and regulate ingress/egress.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities and malfunctions.
• Write incident reports and escalate security concerns.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations.
• Ensure safety of people and property on site.

Responsibilities of Concierge Security Guard

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Conduct security screenings using walk-through and handheld metal detectors, including wanding individuals as needed, to detect prohibited or unauthorized items and maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Provide a welcoming and professional presence across the venue
• Assist with directions, general inquiries, and visitor support
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats and coordinate emergency teams
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits
• Control ingress and egress for both guests and employees
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety

Qualifications of a Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Customer service experience not required but welcomed (hospitality, hotel, corporate lobby, theme park, or similar. We want you!)
• Previous security experience operating walk-through and handheld metal detectors.
• Maintain Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Strong report writing skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
