Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer at our Pismo Beach site. You will monitor cameras, control access, and patrol to maintain safety while delivering courteous service to visitors.

The position offers a set schedule of 19 hours per week (Wed–Fri 3:30PM–7:30PM, Sat 3:30PM–8:30PM) with a competitive wage of $19/hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with employer matching. Uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete 32hr BSIS trainings
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and strong focus
• Proficient with technology
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience welcomed

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access and verify visitor identities
• Analyze systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions

Responsibilities Of Concierge Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of a Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
