GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is seeking a Concierge Security Guard in the Greater Los Angeles Area, CA. The role emphasizes friendly guest engagement, vigilant observation, and safe, welcoming security presence on-site.

Shifts include 5:00AM–1:30PM or 8:30AM–9:30PM, with a competitive hourly wage of $21 and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, holidays, and more. Uniforms provided and on-site parking available.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Previous security experience operating walk-through and handheld detectors
• High School Diploma or GED or higher
• State BSIS Guard Card and 32-hour trainings
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and focus
• Proficiency with security technology

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors professionally
• Conduct security screenings with detectors to maintain safety
• Provide a welcoming on-site presence and directions
• Document incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents and coordinate emergency teams
• Regularly patrol to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and protect exhibits
• Collaborate with management and law enforcement when needed
• Ensure safety of individuals and property on site

Responsibilities of Concierge Security Guard

• Greet and assist visitors,employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Conduct security screenings using walk-through and handheld metal detectors, including wanding individuals as needed, to detect prohibited or unauthorized items and maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Provide a welcoming and professional presence across the venue
• Assist with directions, general inquiries, and visitor support
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threatsand coordinate emergency teams
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits
• Control ingress and egress for both guests and employees
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety

Qualifications of a Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Customer service experience not required but welcomed(hospitality, hotel, corporate lobby, theme park, or similar. We want you!)
• Previous security experience operating walk-through and handheld metal detectors.
• MaintainProfessional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
