Job summary

The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, CO seeks a full-time Golf Course Superintendent to lead maintenance, budgeting, and agronomy initiatives under Troon. You will manage the course’s maintenance plans, coordinate winter operations, and ensure optimal turf health while enhancing member and guest experiences.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, irrigation and water management, ditch maintenance, and implementing preventive measures against turf damage.

Responsibilities

• Aids the Director of Agronomy with preparing and maintaining the annual golf course maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Plans, directs, and performs tasks to minimize and mitigate turf damage (elk, mechanical, vole, desiccation, ice, snow mold).
• Operates and coordinates winter equipment (dump trucks, snow removal equipment, snowcat, snowmobiles).
• Directs winterization of the golf course (fencing, tarping, irrigation winterization, chemical applications).
• Maintains knowledge of agronomy programs for water, soil, and turf types.
• Monitors and maintains water delivery systems and records diversions for compliance.
• Develops and preserves property water rights and patrols irrigation ditches for leaks and repairs.
