Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville, NC, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Leader to direct Banquets, Lounge, Room Service and Restaurant operations with a focus on service quality and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years in luxury hotel F&B leadership, a track record of motivating managers and controlling costs through forecasting, budgeting and inventory controls, while mentoring talent and maintaining high standards of guest experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a food and beverage leader in a luxury hotel.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven track record of motivating managers and associates to meet and exceed goals and to provide the highest quality experience for guests.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, checkbook management, productivity, inventory controls, P&L analysis, food & beverage cost controls.
• Strong computer skills including Micros and online purchasing systems.
• Ability to mentor and develop growing talent for the company.
• Ability to handle progressive discipline/coaching discussions.
• Proven ability to engage associates at all levels.
• Experience working with Sales and Catering leadership.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during busy times and events.
• Must meet appearance standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive hands-on F&B knowledge across multiple outlets, banquets, and P&L responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and direct the operation of Banquets, Lounge, Room Service, and Restaurant facilities.
• Review daily high-cost item inventory control sheets and food cost against targets.
• Develop action plans when food cost is off target.
• Review production planning for Banquets and reconcile daily.
• Ensure service to all guests follows established standards and is efficient and courteous.
• Streamline coordination of F&B products served in Banquets.
• Check portions for size as established in menu item recipes.
• Ensure plates meet specs and that specials have appropriate price/value relationships.
• Perform other duties requested by senior management.
