Job summary

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Northeast Florida invites friendly, guest-focused individuals to join our dining team as a server. You will greet guests, guide them through their dining experience, and ensure timely, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and split shifts.
• Arrive to work on time, in proper uniform.
• Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
• Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
• Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
• Make sure all sidework is complete before opening.
• Set up tables, glasses and silver should be clean and lined up properly; chairs and bases are clean.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
• Greet guests and their guests immediately and with a smile.
• Guide guests through the course of their dining experience, communicating frequently.
• Ring members checks accurately and on a timely manner.
• Communicate with the Captain or Dining Room Manager as to closing time.
• Close and check all guest checks at the end of shift.
• Turn in check-out to Captain or Dining Room Manager.
• Perform and follow up on all other duties assigned by Captain, Dining Room Manager or Room Service Supervisor.
