Job summary

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Northeast Florida is seeking team members for our dining services. You will greet guests with a smile, guide them through the dining experience, and maintain a clean and welcoming service area.

Opportunities include attending pre-shift meetings, learning daily specials, and ensuring accurate guest checks while supporting a top‑tier hospitality team in a premier resort setting.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Arrive on time and in proper uniform.
• Hair clean and styled appropriately as required by management.
• Attend required training, safety courses and departmental meetings.
• Report safety hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Complete all sidework before opening.
• Set up dining area with clean, aligned tables, chairs and linens.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to learn daily specials and information.
• Greet guests promptly and with a smile.
• Guide guests through the dining experience with clear communication.
• Ring checks accurately and on time.
• Coordinate closing time with Captain or Dining Room Manager.
• Close and review guest checks at the end of shift.
• Submit check-out to Captain or Dining Room Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them through the dining experience with a friendly, attentive approach.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of guest checks.
• Maintain clean and attractive service stations and dining area.
• Attend pre-shift briefings to learn daily specials and relevant information.
• Report safety hazards and help maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete all duties assigned by the Captain, Dining Room Manager or Room Service Supervisor.
