Job summary

Bank of Hope in New York seeks a results-oriented Banking Sales Professional to grow deposit, loan and fee income. You will establish trust, cross-sell Treasury Management Solutions, and deliver personalized financial advice to both personal and business clients.

You will identify lending opportunities, conduct outbound outreach, and collaborate with partners to expand profitable relationships while maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with banking regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or sales, preferably in a relationship management or personal banking role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in deposits, loans, and fee income.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to analyze financial information and make sound recommendations.
• Strong drive to become a top performer and stay resilient to produce top results.

Responsibilities

• Use excellent communication and active listening skills to learn about the customer’s financial needs, establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide quality customer service.
• Identify lending opportunities (personal and business) with new and existing clients, including Mortgage, Small Business, and Commercial loans.
• Drive fee-based revenue by cross-selling the bank’s products and services, such as Treasury Management Solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by providing personalized financial advice, regular portfolio reviews, and proactive solutions.
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve deposit, loan, and fee income objectives, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Conduct outbound sales activities to establish visibility, networking, and branch business growth.
• Collaborate with business partners within the Bank to assist customers with complex financial needs and expand profitable relationships.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining ethical behavior.
