Bentonville Schools is seeking an Excellent Beginnings - PreK Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing early learning environment for children and families. You will ensure DHS licensing requirements are met daily and work under the Program Administrator in a classified, non-exempt role.

Qualifications

• Meets DHS minimum licensing training requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field preferred.
• Five years of Early Childhood experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans for and implements pleasant arrivals and departures.
• Uses routines to build relationships and learning opportunities.
• Shows respect for children and encourages respectful interactions.
• Uses language to build relationships and strengthen social-emotional competencies.
• Works with dual language learners to support school readiness and English learning.
• Maintains a clean, organized classroom environment that is safe and developmentally appropriate.
• Implements the curriculum to develop individualized lesson plans with engaging activities.
• Completes developmental assessments and observations and enters data.
• Conducts at least 2 Parent/Teacher Conferences per year.
