Job summary

Bentonville Schools seeks an Excellent Beginnings Infant/Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing early learning environment for our youngest learners. The role emphasizes DHS licensing compliance, parent communication, and developmentally appropriate activities.

Responsibilities include implementing routines, guiding behavior, supporting dual language learners, maintaining a clean classroom, and documenting progress through portfolios and assessments.

Qualifications

• Meet training requirements of DHS Minimum Licensing.
• Minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA Credential).
• Associate Degree or higher preferred, with minimum of 12 college credits in early childhood education.
• Five (5) years of Early Childhood Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans for and implements pleasant arrivals and departures.
• Uses routines to build relationships and learning opportunities.
• Shows respect for children and encourages respectful interactions.
• Uses language to build relationships and strengthen the child's social and emotional competencies.
