Wayne Early Learning Center in Wayne, PA is seeking a passionate Pre-K Teacher to create a warm, supportive classroom that supports young learners during their formative years.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Prior experience with Pre-K or early childhood age groups.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early learning frameworks.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Background Check, and Criminal History required.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for Pre-K students.
• Monitor and assess individual student development, growth, and school readiness.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and milestones.
• Incorporate play-based learning, social-emotional development, and early literacy activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support whole-child development.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with program requirements.
