Job summary

Wayne Early Learning Center in Wayne, PA is seeking a passionate PreK Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role welcomes recent grads with childcare experience and offers a chance to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in young children.

You will plan engaging lessons, create a nurturing classroom, monitor progress, and maintain open communication with families. A supportive environment and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience with preschool or PreK-aged children in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and colleagues.
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early education.
• Current PA state clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, Criminal) or ability to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
• Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and milestones
• Incorporate play-based learning, social-emotional development, and early literacy activities
