Job summary

Wayne Early Learning Center in Wayne, PA is seeking a passionate Preschool Co-Lead Teacher to join our caring team. You will plan age-appropriate curriculum, co-lead a classroom, and partner with families while fostering development in a warm, collaborative environment.

We prefer an Early Childhood Education degree; CPR/First Aid certification is advantageous, and background checks and health screenings are required. A $1,000 signing bonus is offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher; Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Experience with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood development
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and genuine passion for early childhood education
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Responsibilities

• Co-lead a preschool classroom with age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children
• Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
• Collaborate with the co-teacher to maintain consistent classroom routines and behavior management strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and milestones
• Observe, document, and assess child development and maintain accurate student records; assist in maintaining a clean, organized classroom space
