Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support two PreK classrooms in a two-school assignment. This contract runs from early October through March, offering 32.5 hours per week of on-site work with a collaborative, play-based evaluation model for ages 3 to 5.

Required are an IL SLP license and a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology; PEL for Illinois school practice is needed. Experience with Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessments is a plus, with strong communication and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active IL SLP License (State of Illinois) is mandatory
• PEL required for school-based practice in Illinois
• Experience providing SL therapy to PreK (ages 3-5) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessments is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite across two locations

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy to PreK students (ages 3-5) in small group and individual settings
• Conduct and participate in team-based evaluations, including play-based assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs and team input
• Collaborate closely with educators, other therapists, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and stay current with district/state compliance requirements
