Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; post secondary training desired.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of basic reading and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support under supervision of teachers and therapists.
• Assist with collection/preparation of instructional materials and equipment.
• Support supervision of students and help with activities initiated by teachers.
• Prepare instructional aids, games, and bulletin boards as directed.
• Attend professional development meetings for paraeducators.
• Follow district policies and confidentiality guidelines.
