Job summary

Poised for Success Learning Academy seeks a PreK Lead Teacher to provide exceptional classroom instruction and leadership in a small team of early childhood educators. You will report to the Director and foster a supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth for preschool students.

You will lead daily activities, develop age-appropriate curricula, assess progress, and maintain strong parent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction and manage daily activities focused on student learning and development.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support growth.
• Manage student behavior to create a positive learning environment.

• Collaborate effectively with a small team (1-3 teachers) to coordinate efforts and share best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support the social and emotional development of students within the classroom setting.
