Job summary

Qualifications

• Assist in providing instruction and supporting student needs.
• Ability to operate computers using basic applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with ESL instruction in inclusive settings.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
• Supervise students throughout the day, inside and outside the classroom.
• Keep the teacher informed of student needs and issues.
• Help maintain records and prepare reports.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Maintain a neat, organized classroom.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in staff development and meetings.
