Job summary

You will assist the teacher with small group instruction, daily data collection, and general supervision. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, familiarity with behavior management, and the ability to work with students with moderate to severe disabilities in a collaborative school setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to reinforce instructional techniques in a classroom.
• Interpersonal skills for students with disabilities.
• Working knowledge of computer technology.
• Assist with small group instruction and classroom monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with follow-up small group instruction and general monitoring.
• Assist in instructional preparation and teamwork servicing students.
• Support students with behavior and life/social skills in academic tasks.
• Extend intervention techniques to other settings within the school/community.
• Duties as reasonably required for classroom/program needs.
