Wonderspring is seeking a dedicated PreK Counts Assistant Teacher Float at our Star 4 center. In this role, you will assist in delivering lessons based on the Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards, fostering an environment that supports each child's unique journey.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in classrooms to ensure smooth operations and support teaching staff.
2. Collaborate with Lead Teachers to implement curriculum-based lessons, including crafts and circle time activities.
3. Monitor children's well-being and comfort, encouraging positive behaviors and exploration.
4. Maintain a cheerful attitude with children, parents, and colleagues.
5. Guide children towards positive behavior using techniques like FLIP IT and Second Step.
6. Observe and document children's progress, sharing achievements with parents.

Qualifications

• Preschool CDA or AA/AS in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of two years' experience with preschoolers (2,500 verified hours).
• Strong communication skills for engaging with parents and guardians.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality regarding center, staff, and family matters.
• Knowledge of DHS licensing, Keystone Stars, and accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in managing a multicultural classroom environment.
