In this role, you will deliver lessons inspired by the Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards, fostering an environment that supports each child's unique journey.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Lead Teacher with curriculum-based lesson plans, including crafts and circle time activities.
  2. Monitor children's well-being and comfort, encouraging positive behaviors.
  3. Maintain a cheerful attitude with children, parents, and colleagues.
  4. Guide children towards positive behavior using techniques like FLIP IT and Second Step.
  5. Observe and document each child's progress, sharing successes with parents.
Qualifications
  • Preschool CDA or AA/AS in Early Childhood Education.
  • At least two years (2,500 verified hours) of experience with preschoolers in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents and guardians.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding center, staff, and family matters.
  • Understanding of DHS licensing, Keystone Stars, and accreditation standards.
  • Proficiency in managing a multicultural classroom environment.
