Assistant Teacher (Pre-K Counts)

Job description

Seeking a motivated individual to assist in the Pre-K Counts classroom. Must have an interest in and concern for children and families and be passionate about helping preschoolers learn and grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Required Education: a minimum of a high school diploma with two years experience working with young children.
2. Preferred Education: CDA (Child Development Accreditation) in preschool.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in delivering PreK Counts services to a group of preschool children and their families, consistent with the program plan of the agency.

LOCATION:
Middleburg, PA

HOURS & SALARY:

Full-time (35 hours/week, 195 days/year, 7 hours/day), Monday – Friday, $14.56-17.00 per hour

Rate of Pay:

1. High School diploma: $14.56/hour
2. 2 years experience: $15.16/hour
3. CDA: $16.41/hour
4. Associate or Bachelors Degree: $17.00/hour
