New Bedford Public Schools is seeking a PK Building Based Substitute Teacher for Parker Early Childhood Center in New Bedford, MA. The role supports an inclusive, diverse classroom and substitutes when the lead teacher is absent.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining routines, supervising students, and collaborating with staff and families. A minimum of 60 college credits is required; MA teaching certificate is preferred; DESE licensed staff may receive a higher rate.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, video conferencing, Teams and Google.
• Promotes cultural competency and positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Massachusetts teaching certificate preferred.
• DESE license status may affect rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and manage classroom environment in the absence of the teacher.
