Job summary

Schwieters Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Prehung Door Casing Assembler in Minnesota. You will operate Kval CNC trim saw, miter box, and back stapler, read tape measures, and ensure orders are completed on time.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail while supporting efficient warehouse operations. You may need to lift 50+ lbs and coordinate with department leads across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Prior warehouse or material handler experience preferred.
• Able to operate a forklift after training.

• Operate Kval CNC trim saw.
• Operate V-Nail back stapler and glue gun.
• Operate miter box.
• Read and interpret a tape measurer.
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time.
• Use a scan gun to check inventory and adjust material locations.
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps.
• Inspect material for quality.

Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time 2nd shift Prehung Door Casing Assembler.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Kval CNC trim saw


• Operate V-Nail back stapler and glue gun


• Operate miter box


• Read and interpret a tape measurer


• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time


• Use a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations


• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps


• Inspect all material for quality


• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift


• Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders


• Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries


• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed


• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred


• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift


• Candidate must have a good work history


• Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably


• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder


• Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented


• Capable of standing for extended periods of time


• Flexible in working overtime when necessary

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime as needed (2nd shift)




• Will train on 1st shift

PAY

• $22-23/hr. based on experience (2nd shift)
