Job summary

Schwieters Companies, Inc. is seeking a Millwork Door Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Hugo, MN. You will receive doors from the door machine, prep for delivery, manage orders, and use a scan gun to track inventory.

Work closely with a team to maintain 100% on-time deliveries and quality standards. The role requires prior warehouse experience, ability to lift 75+ lbs, and strong communication. Pay is $21 per hour with benefits, including medical/dental, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 75+ lbs.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive doors from the door machine and prep for delivery.
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time.
• Use a scan gun to check inventory and adjust material locations.
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps.
• Inspect all material for quality.
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Maintain communication with department lead on progress with work orders.
• Collaborate with team to ensure 100% on-time deliveries.
• Operate stand/sit forklift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time 2nd shift Millwork Door Material Handler.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive doors from the door machine and prep for delivery
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
• Use a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps
• Inspect all material for quality
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
• Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
• Candidate must have a good work history
• Able to lift 75+ lbs. comfortably
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime as needed (2nd shift)
  • Train on 1st shift

PAY

• $21/hr.
