Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a scientist to Represent Preformulation and Pharmaceutical Development within Technical Operations, focusing on pre-FIH molecules in a fast-paced non-GMP environment. You will develop phase appropriate analytical methods and design preformulation studies across programs, identifying developability risks and authoring regulatory submissions and scientific reports.

You will collaborate with Research, Preclinical & Clinical Pharmacology, and Technical Operations,

Qualifications

• BS/BA or higher in a chemical field with 4+ years pharma lab experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in analytical method development and preformulation sciences.
• Strong communication of technical data and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Research, Preclinical & Clinical Pharmacology, and Technical Operations to share developability data.
• Design and develop phase-appropriate analytical methods (HPLC-UV, LC-MS, MS-MS, SEC-HPLC).
• Conduct developability studies (solubility, stability) and support formulation selection.
• Assemble and review electronic lab notebooks and technical reports for submissions.
• Present updates at department meetings and contribute to regulatory submissions.
