Job summary

Miller Electric Company seeks a Preconstruction Site Manager to lead strategy, coordination, and installation for Prefabrication projects. This role involves collaborating with VDC and 3D design teams to ensure accurate, on-time execution across multiple locations within Miller Electric’s footprint.

You bring 10+ years of electrical construction experience, strong on-site leadership, and proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 10 Years electrical construction experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 Years working experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Field experience in the construction trade
• Experience with installation or construction of fabricated components.

Responsibilities

• Keeps internal and external VDC and fabrication teams involved for buy-in and optimized design.
• Coordinate the delivery and installation of fabricated products to ensure on schedule and correct installation.
• Provide project input for installation constructability to planners, modelers, detailers, and fabrication team.
• Oversee on-site supervision to ensure work follows design, budget, and schedule.
• Interact with the customer to validate expectations before, during, and after project completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage fabrication installation team activities.
• Offer innovative solutions and develop procedures in sequence of operations.
• Provide feedback and reports to the business unit President/VP/Director.
• Mentor team and junior personnel toward development goals.
• Lead site safety and adherence to policies and national safety standards.
