Job summary

DPR Construction in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer to support prefab project delivery by coordinating design details, production data, and field integration. You will assist with shop coordination, production readiness, and material flow to ensure components align with approved design, schedule, and quality.

The role requires 2–4 years of project engineering experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and OSHA 30 familiarity (preferred with 6-month completion).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 2–4 years of project engineering experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates submittals, shop drawings, and models to support production and installation of prefabricated components and closeout support.
• Tracks progress of fabrication and delivery activities, identifying potential schedule or coordination issues.
• Assists in maintaining project documentation including the procurement efforts and development of project BOM and communication between design, production, and field teams.
• Supports field readiness and installation by verifying site conditions and interface tolerances, and supports documentation of incomplete and completed work through rolling completion lists and punch list tracking in ACC or a similar platform.
• Participates in constructability reviews and contributes to continuous improvement of prefab workflows.
• Ensures adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and DPR Prefab Entity policies during fabrication and installation.
