Qualifications

• Official Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Energy or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Energy/Industrial Engineering.
• Strong energy/electrical component and modelling interest.
• Experience with energy system modelling packages is desirable.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop methodologies to integrate energy system modelling and stability analysis.
• Model reactive power needs and voltage stability in transmission scenarios.
• R&D on stability constraints with high penetration of renewables.
• Collect and process open datasets for grid dynamics and operability.
• Represent inertia and damping in planning models.
• Assess impact of planning decisions on grid stability and resilience.
• Publish results in journals and present at conferences; supervise students.
