Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the reliability and maintenance strategy for the Quality Control Center, driving a data‑driven, predictive model while developing a high‑performing technical team. This role oversees P&L, asset uptime, and KPI adherence, reporting to Center Leadership and collaborating with external vendors.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, 5+ years of maintenance leadership in automated food manufacturing, and proven experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years leading maintenance in a highly automated food manufacturing environment with CI/TPM.
• Proven experience deploying reliability strategies, FMEA and root cause analysis.
• P&L ownership — able to present budgets and capital plans to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of USDA, HACCP, OSHA and food safety regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance department P&L and annual budget; manage variances and capital requests.
• Lead reliability transformation from reactive to data‑driven predictive maintenance.
• Develop CMMS-based PM program and manage repairs, contractors, and capital projects.
• Build technician development, cross‑training, and succession planning.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across the maintenance function.
